Rob Hussey
BIO

Rob was graduated, Magna cum Laude, from the Air Force Academy in 1981 with degrees in Civil Engineering and Business Management. He attended the University of Southern California earning an MBA degree with emphasis in finance and quantitative analysis.


Rob served in the Air Force for six years with assignments at SAC Headquarters where he directed the acquisition of a $25 million computer project and at Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he served on the faculty.


Rob began his real estate career with Lowe Enterprises as an Assistant Vice President in Commercial Development.


Since joining Beitler, Rob has been instrumental in a number of transactions, including:



  • 48,000 square foot, ten-year lease with Prime Ticket (Fox Sports) at 10000 Santa Monica Boulevard and financial restructuring of the building's debt
  • 12,000 square foot lease renegotiation for On Assignment, Inc., which resulted in a 20% savings in the tenant's rental expense
  • $16 million sale and acquisition of Broadway Place, Santa Monica (a 70,000 square foot creative space project)
  • $14 million acquisition of 1401 Ocean Avenue, Santa Monica and 100 Corporate Pointe, Culver City (160,000 square feet total)
  • $8.6 million sale and acquisition of 9350 Wilshire Boulevard, Beverly Hills (54,000 square feet)
  • $7.7 million acquisition of 530 Wilshire Boulevard, Santa Monica (47,000 square feet)
  • $7.7 million sale of 12001 Ventura Boulevard, Studio City (60,000 square feet)
  • $7 million acquisition of 2730 Wilshire Boulevard, Santa Monica (56,000 square feet)
  • $4.5 million sale and acquisition of The Playboy Building, Santa Monica
  • $3.8 million owner-user acquisition of23805 Stuart Ranch Road, Malibu (40,000 square feet plus development land)
